- Taco seasoning: we’re using the Fit Foodie Finds Homemade Taco Seasoning but a store bought taco packet will work, too!
- Fresh lime: we love the freshness and acidity that lime juice and zest bring to the dip.
- Cheddar cheese: freshly shredded is always our preference, but a bag of shredded cheddar will also work.
- Tomatoes: we’re using diced roma tomatoes, but any slicing tomato will also work.
- Iceberg lettuce: iceberg lettuce has its time and place, and taco dip is it!
- Avocado: we’re slicing it right on the top of this taco dip ๐
- Jalapeรฑo: add a little heat with a freshly sliced jalapeรฑo.

Made this for a party what my mom had for my brother when he got home from the Army. I tell you what, it didn’t last long and everybody asked for the recipe. I used Early Girls rather than Roma tomatoes and it worked out just fine. Good recipe like all the recipes here. It’s fun to try new things.
So happy to hear everyone loved this taco dip!
