Easy Ingredient Swaps

Frozen peas: fresh English peas are a great alternative to frozen peas if they’re in season where you live.

Creamy dressing: If you don’t have time to make the homemade creamy dressing, a store-bought ranch, blue cheese or caesar dressing will also work depending on your taste preference.

Diced sharp cheddar cheese: feel free to use any diced semi-hard or hard cheese you have on hand! White cheddar, marble jack, pepper jack or swiss are great alternatives.

Crumbled bacon: we love the simplicity of using crumbled bacon slices or bacon bits, but diced ham or shredded rotisserie chicken would work as well.

The tanginess of the mustard and fresh dill make this recipe so special. One of my guests said he could have eaten a 5 gallon bucketful!
