- Ground beef: We recommend 85/15 beef for the perfect juiciness.

- Sliced cheddar cheese: We love a classic sliced sharp cheddar, but don’t let that stop you from using your favorite variety of sliced cheese.
How to Make Simple Cheeseburgers
These simple cheeseburgers come together in 4 simple steps, which means you’re 4 steps away from cheeseburger perfection. Let’s get into it:
Toast Buns
Spread the butter on the inside of each hamburger bun. Heat a large skillet over medium/high heat and toast the hamburger buns until they become golden brown.
Prepare Burger Patties
Divide the ground beef into 4 sections. Form each ยผ into a patty about 4 ยฝ – 5 inches in diameter. Make a thumbprint in the center of each hamburger patty, and season each side of the hamburger with the salt and pepper.
Cook Burgers
Heat the same skillet over medium heat. When the pan becomes very hot, but not smoking, put the hamburger patties in the thumbprint side up. Cook the patty without moving for 3-4 minutes. Flip and cook for another 3-4.
Place 2 pieces of cheddar cheese on top of each burger and cover with a lid or tin foil until the cheese is completely melted.
Grilling instructions: Preheat the grill to 450โ to 500โ. Grill the burgers for 3 to 4 minutes on each side or until desired doneness.
