Ingredients for Ham and Cheese Sliders

  • Homemade honey mustard spread: we love this 3-ingredient spread! You need honey, mustard and mayonnaise.
  • Hawaiian rolls: you’ll be slicing an entire package of these — 12 rolls! It fits perfectly in a casserole dish.
  • Sliced ham: can’t have ham and cheese sliders without ham!
  • Sliced provolone cheese: feel free to use Swiss cheese if you don’t have provolone cheese on hand.

This le creuset casserole dish is our all time favorite casserole dish! The white color rocks, it has a cover, and it’s great for so many dishes.

How to Make Ham and Cheese Sliders

Prepare honey mustard

Add the mayonnaise, mustard, and honey to a small bowl, and mix to combine.

Slice hawaiian rolls

Cut the Hawaiian buns down the middle hamburger bun style.

Assemble sliders

  • Spread the honey mustard mixture on the bottom of the Hawaiian rolls.
  • Next, layer the ham and provolone cheese on top of the honey mustard sauce.
  • Place the tops of the Hawaiian rolls on top of the meat and cheese.

Bake sliders & Enjoy!

Place the rolls into the baking dish and cover with tin foil. Bake the rolls at 350ºF for 15 minutes. Take the rolls out of the oven and brush with all of the butter. Place the rolls back in the oven, uncovered, and bake for an additional 10-15 minutes.

Allow the sliders to sit for 5 minutes before cutting and serving. ENJOY!

Easy Ingredient Swaps

  • Homemade honey mustard –> store-bought honey mustard: Store-bought can be used as a substitute for our homemade honey mustard when in a pinch. This recipe makes 1 tablespoon short of ½ a cup.
  • Sliced ham –> sliced turkey: You could technically sub a turkey for this recipe, but the ham pairs really nicely with the honey mustard ๐Ÿ˜€
  • Provolone cheese –> another mild cheese: Don’t have provolone? We recommend using another mild cheese like muenster or Swiss.
