Ingredients

You only need a few ingredients to make this amazing grilled brie cheese appetizer!

  • Round brie
  • Olive oil
  • Fresh cherries
  • Balsamic vinegar 
  • Fresh basil
  • Fresh cracked pepper

How to Make Grilled Brie Cheese

Preheat & Prep Brie

Preheat the grill to 450℉. Drizzle olive oil onto both sides of the brie and place it into an 8×8-inch tin foil pan. 

Add cherries

Next, sprinkle the cherries around the brie in the pan and place the pan on the grill over direct heat. 

Grill Brie & Cherries

Grill with the lid off for 5 minutes. Then, flip the brie and place the lid on the grill. Grill over direct heat for another 5 minutes. 

Serve & enjoy!

Remove the pan from the grill. Cut an X into the brie and gently fold back the triangles of rind on top. Drizzle on the vinegar and top with cracked pepper and torn basil. Serve with crusty breads or crackers.

Variations

Can’t find cherries? Blackberries, strawberries or sliced peaches will also work, and will have a similar sweet flavor profile.

Make it more savory: Substitute the cherries for grape tomatoes and onions.

Ingredients 

  • 8 oz. round brie
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cups fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • ¼ cup fresh basil, torn
  • ½ teaspoon fresh cracked pepper

Instructions 

  • Preheat the grill to 450℉.
