There’s something about the flavors of broccoli and cheese together that is simply irresistible. So naturally, we had to make our own version of this classic breakfast dish. And not to toot our own horn, but it is probably the best cheesy broccoli quiche we’ve ever had.

When developing this recipe, we wanted to avoid a soggy crust and dense center. We’ve done it!

It just goes to show how tasty you can make something when you’ve been a lifelong fan of the combo. With our Broccoli Cheese Soup, Broccoli Cheese Casserole, Broccoli Mac and Cheese, and Broccoli Rice and Cheese Casserole recipes already under our belt… I’d say we’re quite familiar!

What You Need for Broccoli Cheddar Quiche

For this broccoli cheddar quiche you will need a pie pan, fresh broccoli, store-bought pie crust, eggs, and spices. It truly is that easy.

Variations

While broccoli cheddar quiche is a beloved classic, sometimes it’s nice to switch things up. Adding in a few other finely diced ingredients can create an entirely new flavor experience that will be sure to please.

Feel free to add more vegetables to the quiche. Mushrooms, broccoli, spinach, bell peppers, or chives are all great options.

Add some protein to the quiche. We suggest using diced ham, bacon, ground breakfast sausage, or ground beef.

Storage

Store any leftover broccoli cheddar quiche in an airtight container or tightly covered in the fridge for up to 3 days.

To reheat, cover your quiche with foil and place it in the oven at 325°F for about 15 minutes or until warmed through.

Can you freeze broccoli cheddar quiche?

Yes. Broccoli cheddar quiche can be frozen quite easily and makes for a great make-ahead meal. Before freezing, make sure you cool your quiche completely — this will help to maintain the quality of the texture and flavor when reheated.

If you’d prefer individual portions, slice up your quiche before wrapping it in plastic wrap and aluminum foil.
