You gotta love air fryer appetizer recipes around the holidays. Not only do they save you time and free up oven space, but they also yield deliciously crispy results. And this melty brie cheese is no exception. You’ll have it from kitchen to table in under 30 minutes!

What’s in Air Fryer Baked Brie

  • Brie cheese: the ultimate cheese for baking due to its soft, creamy texture and mild flavor that pairs well with both sweet and savory ingredients.
  • Pepperidge Farm frozen puff pastry: we used the classic puff pastry sheets for maximum convenience.
  • Raspberry jam: a wonderfully tart and fruity jam to contrast the rich, buttery cheese.
  • Egg: you’ll need an egg to make an egg wash to brush on the puff pastry for a golden, glossy finish.

Variations and Substitutions

Pepperidge Farm puff pastry: You’re welcome to use your preferred brand of frozen puff pastry or make your own from scratch if you’re feeling ambitious.

Raspberry jam: Fig jam, cranberry sauce, or apricot preserves would also work well in this recipe. For a savory twist, you can use your favorite chutney or spread.

Egg: Heavy cream or maple syrup can be used instead of eggs to give the golden brown color.

Tasty additions: This great appetizer would taste even more decadent with a drizzle of sweet honey, a sprinkle of chopped nuts, or some fresh herbs on top.

Top Tips for Air Fryer Baked Brie

The younger the brie the more firm it will be. Using a younger brie is best so you are not left with a gooey mess.

Do not use cut brie for this recipe. Without a rind, it will not hold its shape and ooze out of the puff pastry.

Storage + Freezer Directions

Place any leftover air fryer baked brie in an airtight container and store in the fridge for up to 2 days.

We don’t recommend freezing this delicious cheese, as the texture and taste will lose its quality once thawed.
