I don’t know about you, but the best part of Thanksgiving for me is not Thanksgiving dinner itself, but the Thanksgiving dinner leftovers. If you don’t believe me, try these leftover turkey sliders. They’re savory, cheesy, and packed with your favorite comfort food flavors. It’s basically the best way to enjoy your leftover shredded turkey.

We are obsessed with this recipe because it is so easy to make. All you need to do is assemble your sliders with your favorite leftovers and bake. You and the entire family are going to fall in love with these little sandwiches!

What You Need to Make Thanksgiving Sliders

These Thanksgiving sliders are made with many of the classic Thanksgiving leftovers. The non-Thanksgiving leftovers that you’ll need are Hawaiian rolls and brie cheese.

We stuff Hawaiian rolls with leftover cranberry sauce, turkey, stuffing, and mashed potatoes. These little sliders are the perfect vehicle for all leftovers!

9×13-inch baking dish: this is the perfect size for assembling and baking your sliders. If you don’t have a 9×13-inch baking dish, a similar-sized dish will work just fine.

Our Favorite

Casserole Dish

This le creuset casserole dish is our all time favorite casserole dish! The white color rocks, it has a cover, and it’s great for so many dishes.

Variations and Substitutions

Hawaiian rolls: Dinner rolls could be used in place of the Hawaiian rolls, but they should be the same softness. Ones that are already crispy on the outside could become hard while baking.

Add sauce: These mini turkey sandwiches would taste amazing with a spread of Dijon mustard or Worcestershire sauce.

Lots of sides can be used in this recipe. Leftover cranberry sauce, mashed sweet potatoes, squash, mac and cheese. etc. The total amount should stay around 3 cups. Use whatever you find tasty!

Storage + Freezer Directions

Since the sliders are made from Thanksgiving leftovers, we recommend eating all of them the day they were made. But this will depend on how long the leftovers have been in the fridge before you make them.

To freeze, make sure you only freeze the filling, not the Hawaiian rolls. You can store the filling in a freezer-safe, airtight container for up to 3 months.
