There is nothing we love more than breakfast and hosting our friends. We realized that when we host a brunch we often make a whole smorgasbord of breakfast so everyone has what they want. That’s when it hit us, why not just make a charcuterie board- a little bit of everything included!
We added a delicious maple cream cheese spread to make it extra special. It’s simple and great for special occasions, whether you’re celebrating a baby shower, Mother’s Day, or a weekend brunch with the pals.ย
What’s In Easy Breakfast Charcuterie Board
This breakfast and brunch charcuterie board is loaded with a variety of flavors that’ll satisfy everyone’s palate.
For the savory options, you’ll need hard-boiled eggs, cheddar cheese, goat cheese, bagels, cream cheese, and maple syrup for a delicious maple cream cheese spread. We kept it simple and used prosciutto and dry salami for the meat options.
For sweet, we used strawberries and blueberries for a pop of color. To add some crunch to the board, include frozen waffles that can be easily toasted before serving.
Variations and Substitutions

Meat: Feel free to use any cured meat you prefer. You’re also welcome to cook up some crispy bacon or sausage links to add to the board if you wish!

Since this breakfast charcuterie board has many different ingredients, storing leftovers can be a bit tricky. If you have any leftover meats, cheeses, or fruits, they can easily be stored in an airtight container and refrigerated for up to 3-4 days.
The waffles and bagels will not hold up well if stored with the other items. We recommend keeping them separate and reheating in the toaster or oven when ready to eat.
If you have a lot of leftovers, some items can be frozen for later use. The meats and cheeses can be individually wrapped and stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Waffles and bagels can also be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months, but make sure to wrap them tightly to avoid freezer burn.

Breakfast Charcuterie
Ingredients
- 8 large eggs
- 4 oz. cream cheese softened
- ยฝ cup maple syrup
- 4 oz. thinly sliced prosciutto
- 4 oz. thinly sliced dry salami
- 4 bagels any type
- 6 frozen waffles
- 8 oz. cheddar cheese cubed
- 4 oz. goat cheese log
- 16 oz. strawberries
- 1 pint blueberries
Instructions
- First, fill a medium bowl halfway with ice cubes and cover the ice cubes with water. Set aside.
- Fill a medium saucepan with water and bring the water to a boil over high heat.
- Gently add the eggs to the boiling water and let boil for 6-12 minutes. (6 minutes for soft yolks and 12 minutes for fully cooked yolks.)
- When the eggs are done cooking, drain water from the saucepan and place the eggs in the ice bath for at least 5 minutes.
- Carefully peel the shell from each egg. If the shell isnโt peeling easily, try running the egg underwater while peeling the egg. Half the eggs and place in a small bowl and place on the charcuterie board. Season them with salt and pepper.
- Add the cream cheese and โ cup of the syrup into a small bowl. Mix to combine and transfer to a small bowl and place on the board.
- Place the prosciutto and salami on opposite ends of the board in loose piles.
- Toast the bagels and quarter them. Transfer them to the board next to the maple cream cheese.
- Toast the waffles in a toaster or oven. Cut in half and place opposite the bagels. Set the maple syrup near the waffles.
- Next, place the cheddar cheese and goat cheese log on opposite sides from each other.
- Fill in any remaining space with the strawberries and blueberries.
- Serve immediately.
