Keyword: Air Fryer Ravioli
Servings: 4
- 1 9-oz. package cheese ravioli
- ¼ cup all purpose flour
- 1 large egg
- ½ cup plain breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup finely grated parmesan cheese
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- ½ teaspoon italian seasoning
- Marinara sauce for serving
Grease your air fryer basket lightly with olive oil spray.
Add the ravioli and flour to a large bowl and toss to combine.
In another small bowl, beat the egg with a small splash of water (about 2 tablespoons) until uniform.
Add the breadcrumbs, parmesan cheese, garlic powder, and italian seasoning to a third bowl.
One at a time, shake off any excess flour from one ravioli and then dip it into the egg and then into the breadcrumbs. Make sure to fully coat the ravioli with both the egg and breadcrumbs. Then place it in the greased air fryer basket and repeat with as many raviolis as will fit– make sure not to overcrowd the air fryer.
Spray the raviolis with olive oil spray and cook at 375ºF for 5 minutes, or until crisp and golden brown.
Serve with marinara sauce and enjoy.
- I’m using cheese ravioli in this recipe but you could use any kind you like! This recipe is intended to be made with store-bought refrigerated ravioli, not homemade or frozen ravioli.
- Flour helps the egg stick to the ravioli.
- Egg helps the breadcrumbs stick to the ravioli.
- The combination of breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese is the perfect coating for this cheese ravioli! Breadcrumbs make the ravioli crunchy while parmesan adds a crisp, saltiness to the breading.
- I’m flavoring the ravioli with garlic powder and italian seasoning but if you are using seasoned breadcrumbs, feel free to leave them out!
