- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter room temperature
- 12 ct. Hawaiian rolls
- 1 cup whole milk
- 6 large egg yolks
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ¼ teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 6 oz. cream cheese room temperature
Grease a 9x13-inch pan with the butter and place the Hawaiian rolls into the dish. Using the end of a spatula, or your finger, push a hole in the center of each roll. Set aside.
Mix the whole milk, egg yolks, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt in a large bowl. Pour it over the rolls.

Cover with plastic wrap or tinfoil and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. There will still be some liquid in the baking dish after.
Preheat the oven to 350℉. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow the bake to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Mix in 2 tablespoons of your favorite jam with the cream cheese.
