- 17 oz. puff pastry sheets thawed; about 2 sheets
- ¼ cup blackberry jam
- ½ puck Garlic & Fine Herbs Boursin cheese about 2.6 oz.
- 1 large egg whisked
Preheat the oven to 375°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Roll each puff pastry sheet into a 10x11-inch rectangle.
Spread the blackberry jam evenly over one puff pastry sheet. Crumble the Boursin evenly over the jam.
Top with the second puff pastry sheet. Trim the edges so the sheets line up evenly.
Cut the assembled pastry in half, then cut each half into 8 strips to make 16 strips total.
Twist each strip and transfer it to the prepared baking sheet. Space the twists apart so they are not touching.
Brush the twists with the whisked egg. Bake for 20 minutes, or until golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a cooling rack or serving plate.
- Use a knife or fork to break small pieces off the Boursin puck instead of crumbling it with your hands.
- The total time does not include thawing the puff pastry. Follow the thawing instructions on your package before beginning.
- Store the twists in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Refrigerate promptly after serving.
- If making ahead, allow the portion you're serving to come to room temperature or reheat in the oven at 350°F for 5 minutes.
