Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 garlic cloves minced
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 teaspoon fresh cracked black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

Instructions

  • In a large nonstick skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium heat.

  • Whisk in the whipping cream and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer.

Notes

  • Storage Instructions: If you have any leftover sauce, pour it into a glass storage container and let it cool completely. Once cool, seal the jar and refrigerate for up to 4 days. To reheat leftover sauce, transfer it into a saucepan set over low heat. Whisk until warm throughout. Avoid using the microwave as it makes the sauce oily.
