Cheese Grits Recipe

These 5-ingredient cheesy grits truly are the cheesiest! With both parmesan and cheddar cheese, these grits are the perfect side dish to a Southern-style meal.

Ingredients

  • 4 cups chicken broth or any kind of broth
  • 1 1/4 cups course ground cornmeal
  • 1/2 cup whole milk plain Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

Instructions

  • Bring the broth to a boil in a medium-sized pot. 
  • Add the cornmeal and reduce to a simmer. 
  • Cook the grits for 20 minutes, stirring frequently.
  • Remove grits from heat and add Greek yogurt, parmesan and cheddar cheese. 
  • Mix well and serve immediately.
