Apple  Pie

All things sweet and savory come together with this apple pie with cheese!

What you need:

Granny smith apples Sugar Light brown sugar Cinnamon All purpose flour Lemon juice Frozen pie crust Rolled oats Sharp cheddar cheese Unsalted butter

Peel

Preheat oven to 350℉. Place pie crust on a baking sheet. Peel and core apples and slice into ¼ inch pieces. Transfer to a large bowl.

Toss

Add sugars, cinnamon, flour, & lemon juice to the apples. Toss until all slices are completely covered. Transfer into the pie crust and set aside.

Mix

For topping, add flour, oats, sugar, & cheddar into a bowl and stir. Pour melted butter into the crumble mixture & mix until a wet sand consistency forms.

Bake

Sprinkle the crumble all over the pie. Bake at 350ºF for 55 minutes. When done, let rest for 30 minutes so that the center can thicken.
