Pizza Soft Pretzels

These kid-approved soft pretzels are a crowd pleaser. Top with your favorite pizza toppings!

What you need:

Active dry-yeast Water Flour Baking Soda Egg Mozzarella cheese Pepperoni Marinara sauce Salt

Form Dough

Whisk together the warm water and active dry yeast. Then, let sit for 5 minutes. Next, stir in the flour and salt. Mix until a shaggy dough forms.

Turn Dough

Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead until the dough is smooth. Transfer the dough to a lightly oiled bowl.

Form Pretzel

After dough has risen, roll each piece into a rope and then form a U shape. Cross the two ends of the U and then fold them back over the bottom.

Bake

Boil each pretzel for 45 seconds. After boiling, brush with egg whites and top with mozzarella and pepperoni. Bake until golden brown. Enjoy!
