Parmesan Risotto

Why you'll love it

This risotto is a creamy, velvety dinner made with arborio rice and homemade parmesan broth.

What you need:

parmesan broth olive oil white onion salt garlic arborio rice parmesan cheese black pepper parsley or thyme


Add broth to a pot & bring to boil. Keep warm on low. Heat olive oil in dutch oven & add onion & salt. Saute until translucent & then add garlic.


Add Rice

Add rice & mix. Add broth and stir until 1/2 cup of broth remains - 20-25 minutes. Rice should be almost cooked after 3.5 cups of broth.


Add Cheese

Add the final bit of broth to the rice & let it absorb about halfway, then add grated parmesan cheese & pepper. Stir until the cheese is melted.



Remove from heat and sprinkle fresh herbs and parmesan cheese to the top of the risotto and serve.
