Crusted Pork Chops

Why you'll love it

We brown these pork chops in a cast iron pan until perfectly golden brown.

What you need:

boneless pork chops coarse salt parmesan cheese cornmeal brown sugar garlic powder dried thyme black pepper eggs olive oil

Pound

Place pork chops on cutting board & cover with plastic wrap. Pound until 3/4 inch thick. Massage salt into each side & set aside.

Dredge

Add cornmeal & seasonings to one bowl & whisk eggs together in another. Dredge each chop in egg then parmesan mixture, making sure it's fully coated.

Brown

Add oil to a heated cast iron skillet. When sizzling, add pork to the skillet & brown for 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown.

Serve

When the internal temp. reaches 145ΒΊF remove the pork chops from the stove top. Let the pork chops rest for 5 minutes before serving.
