Puff Pastry

Why you'll love it

Use this puff pastry in sweet or savory recipes. It’s easy to make, and fluffy every time!

What you need:

all-purpose flour kosher salt unsalted butter  ice water

Whisk

Place flour and salt into bowl. Whisk together. Grate stick of cold butter into flour. Mix butter & flour together. Add 6 tbps. of ice-cold water & mix.

Wrap

Wrap ball in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour. Set 2 additional butter sticks out to come to room temperature. Flour work surface. Roll out dough.

Spread

Spread stick of butter on top of dough. Fold in thirds and then in half. Wrap in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour. Repeat steps 1 more time.

Bake

Roll the dough out to roughly 10×16 inches. Preheat the oven to 375℉. Place the puff pastry on a baking sheet and bake for 20 minutes.
