Cheese Ravioli

Why you'll love it

Homemade ravioli is easier to make than you'd think. This is a dish that is sure to impress.

What you need:

whole milk ricotta cheese shredded mozzarella  grated parmesan cheese garlic powder dried Italian seasoning kosher salt crushed red pepper  egg yolk all-purpose flour semolina flour

Filling

First, make the filling by mixing together the ricotta, parmesan, mozzarella, garlic powder, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, salt and egg yolk.

Dough

Add the all-purpose flour, semolina flour, and kosher salt to the bowl of a food processor. Pulse to combine. Then, add the egg yolk and pulse again.

Form

Ravioli Noodles

Add a 2 tsp dollop of the ricotta mixture across the noodle ever half of an inch. Then, place the second sheet over top and cut in between the ricotta dollops.

Cheese Shell

Boil the ravioli noodles in salted water until the noodles float.

Serve

Finally, serve the ravioli with marinara sauce or sauce of your choice and enjoy!
