Five Cheese Marinara

Why you'll love it

We use a whopping five different kinds of cheese for this simple recipe!

What you need:

olive oil Italian Seasoning tomato paste crushed tomatoes granulated sugar shredded asiago cheese  romano cheese parmesan cheese mascarpone cheese mozzarella cheese

Heat

Heat olive oil in a large pan over medium/high heat. When the oil is fragrant, add the diced onion. Cook for 5 minutes.

Cook

Add the garlic, salt, and Italian seasoning and cook for another minute.

Simmer

Reduce the heat to low/medium and add the tomato paste, stirring often. Next, add the crushed tomatoes and sugar. Simmer for 10 minutes.

Serve

Fold the cheese into the marinara sauce and simmer for an additional 10 minutes. Serve over your choice of pasta.
