Tomato  Tart

Why you'll love it

Made on delicious puff pastry with a cream cheese spread and drizzled with a balsamic glaze.

What you need:

cherry tomatoes red wine vinegar red onion salt puff pastry egg cream cheese lemon zest lemon juice fresh thyme balsamic reduction

Mix

Preheat oven. Then place the tomatoes, red onion, vinegar, salt in a bowl. Mix and set aside. Then lightly dust a counter with flour & lay out puff pastry!

Roll

Dust a rolling pin with flour & roll out puff pastry. Transfer to baking sheet & fold in edges. Score edge with a knife & poke small holes with a fork.

Mix

Brush puff pastry with egg wash & then bake for 12-15 min. Mix cream cheese, lemon zest & juice, & fresh thyme into a bowl until creamed and combined.

Serve

Remove pastry from oven & spread cream cheese mix over tart. Bake 8-10 more min. Remove & let cool. Drain liquid from tomatoes & spread over tart.
