Cheese Fondue

Why you'll love it

Melted with white wine, corn starch & spices and then served with your favorite dippers!

What you need:

fontina cheese  Swiss cheese  white cheddar cheese  cornstarch dry white wine  dijon mustard grated garlic fresh thyme  grated nutmeg dippers

Combine

Combine cheeses and cornstarch. Gently stir until cheese is coated. Add white wine, dijon mustard, & garlic to a small saucepan over medium-low heat.

Add

Bring wine to a gentle bubble then add ¼ cup of cheese. Whisk constantly until cheese melt. Add another ¼ cup of cheese and whisk until it is melted-- repeat.

Whisk

Once the cheese is smooth and melted, remove from the heat & whisk in thyme and nutmeg. Transfer to a fondue pot and serve immediately.

Serve

The cheese will thicken as it sits. If it becomes too thick, return to pot & reheat over medium-low. Add 1-2 additional tablespoons of wine, if needed.
