Chicken  Pot Pie

This is a hearty meal that feeds a crowd and is ready in less than an hour.

What you need:

unsalted butter  yellow onion  mixed frozen vegetables garlic & onion powder paprika dried thyme salt & pepper shredded chicken all-purpose flour chicken broth

Make Biscuits

Make biscuits according to recipe instructions. Then preheat the oven to 400℉ and prepare a 9×13-inch casserole dish with cooking spray.

Add Vegetables

Cook onion in a large skillet. Add mixed vegetables, then seasonings & cooked chicken. Transfer to a large bowl. In same pan, create roux with butter and flour.

Top

Add broth & cook 2-3 minutes until thickened. Add chicken mixture back to pan & top with biscuits.

Serve

Bake for 25 minutes or until the biscuits begin to brown. Remove from the oven and allow 5 minutes to rest before serving.
