Texas Toast

Why you'll love it

Cheesy Texas toast is the perfect side dish to dinner! This recipe is also freezer-friendly.

What you need:

Yukon gold potatoes  unsalted butter  egg yolks dried thyme fresh chives fresh parsley ground nutmeg salt & pepper gruyere cheese  parmesan cheese

Roast

First, cut the top off of the garlic, and place in a baking dish, coating in olive oil. Then, roast the garlic at Roast at 375ºF for 20 minutes.

Mash

Next, after letting the garlic cool, squeeze the garlic out of the bulbs and add the softened butter. Then, mash the two together.

Combine

Next, add in the mozzarella, cheddar, parmesan, salt, pepper, and parsley and mixture and mix to combine.

Serve

Spread the mixture over the toast, and bake for 7-10 minutes or until golden brown. Serve immediately!
