Savory Cheese Muffins

Why Make Cheese Muffins?

These cheese muffins are the perfect side for any meal. They're a cross between a muffin and a biscuit and so flavorful!

Simple Ingredients

These savory muffins are made with flour, spices, an egg, buttermilk, cheddar cheese, and fresh parsley.

Step 1: Mix Wet 

In a large bowl, combine egg, vegetable oil, and buttermilk. Make sure not to over mix.

Step 2: Add Dry

Then add in the sifted dry ingredients: flour, baking powder and soda, salt, spices, grated cheese, and parsley. Mix to combine.

Step 3: Bake

Transfer batter into a lined muffin tin, filling 3/4 of the way full. Bake at 400ºF for 25-30 minutes. 

Step 4: Let Cool

Remove cheese muffins from the oven and let them cool for 10 minutes before removing from the muffin pan.
