Baked Butternut Squash Pasta

With boursin cheese!

How do you make butternut squash pasta sauce?

This baked butternut squash pasta sauce is made with an entire puck of Boursin cheese. The sauce is baked in the oven and then mashed together and served with pasta.

STEP 1

Prepare Sauce Base

Toss cherry tomatoes, onion, and cubed butternut squash with a dry white wine and olive oil. 

STEP 2

Add Cheese

Add an entire puck of Boursin cheese and a whole head of garlic to the casserole dish.

Can't find Boursin cheese?

Use goat cheese or cream cheese instead! 

STEP 3

Bake at 400ºF

Roast at 400ºF for around 40 minutes. The goal is to break down the tomatoes and soften the butternut squash, garlic, and Boursin cheese.

STEP 4

Mash & Mix

Use a wooden utensil to smash the cherry tomatoes, garlic cloves, and butternut squash. Then, mix everything together with the softened cheese and pasta water.

STEP 5

Add Noodles

Add noodles to the baked Boursin and butternut squash pasta sauce and toss to combine everything. Top fresh chives and more cheese.
