BBQ Chicken  Mac and Cheese

Chicken thighs tossed with BBQ sauce and served over creamy mac & cheese!

What you need:

chicken thighs butter all-purpose flour 2% milk broth macaroni noodles cheddar cheese bbq sauce salt and pepper chil & garlic powder ground cumin

Cook

Season chicken & let sit for 15 minutes. Heat dutch oven & add butter. Cook chicken to 165° & then cover with foil & set aside.

Stir

Remove burnt bits & return pan to medium. Add remaining butter & add flour. Stir until paste forms. Slowly stir in milk & whisk until thickened.

Boil

Add broth & other seasonings & whisk to combine. Add noodles & bring to a boil, cooking until al dente. Shred chicken while noodles are cooking!

Serve

Heat BBQ sauce & toss chicken until coated. Slowly add cheese to noodles until melted. Fold chicken into mac and cheese and serve!
