gruyere cheese

Refrigerate
Prepare crust according to recipe & then refrigerate for 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 400โ. Spray a 9-inch pie pan with cooking spray and set aside.

Bake
Roll out pie dough and then transfer to the pie pan. Using a fork, pierce the crust several times. Bake the crust for 10 minutes. Remove & allow to cool.

Whisk
Add eggs, milk, salt, pepper, & cayenne to a bowl and whisk together. Set aside. Place the crumbled bacon, gruyere cheese, and onion into the cooled pie crust.

Serve
Next, transfer the egg mixture to the pie crust. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Allow the quiche to cool slightly before serving.
