Bacon Mac & Cheese

Why you'll love it

This mac and cheese is creamy, salty and has chunks of bacon in every bite!

What you need:

elbow macaroni  salted butter all-purpose flour whole milk heavy whipping cream smoked gouda gruyere ground mustard salt ground pepper bacon

Roux

First create a roux by adding butter to a pot, followed by flour and slowly whisking in milk. Then, add your shredded cheeses.

Noodles & Bacon

Next add your boiled elbow macaroni noodles, and chopped bacon into the cheese sauce.

Casserole Dish

In an oiled casserole dish, add the bacon mac and cheese and top with more shredded cheese.

Bake

Bake for 20-25 minutes at 400ºF or until the cheese is golden brown. Remove from oven and enjoy!
